Two stage side feeder is forcing feeding. First feeder is used to meter, and the second feeder is used to forcing feed the material into the twin screw exturder. 

The screw of the second feeder is assembled by standard screw elements. Screw elements are jointed by involute spline. Inside of the barrel are bi-metal bushes (CrFeSiBCNi, easy to be replaced). Screw elements are made of high speed tool steel (Quenching and tempering, HRC60-62). Screw elements are assembled in modular design outside the core shaft. Screw elements joint design is according to the material processed.
